Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A small hand stamped vintage chrome plated pastry or cake fork with the words 'HAPPY FORKING BIRTHDAY' on it. A perfect little gift to pop in the post, or to put in the box with a lovely sticky creamy cake or an elegant selection of pastries! It's about 11.5cm long with three tines, a broad slightly concave blade and a neat little floral detail on the handle. I believe it dates from the 1950s or 1960s.
This listing is for ONE fork. You will receive the item shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the fork does.
Please note this is a vintage item so although it's lovely and shiny there are a few signs of age and wear in the form of hairline scratches in the plating. If you were looking for mint condition flatware... this isn't that. (It's been bashed twenty times with a hammer and a steel die, for starters!)
