Full description

'So shines a good deed in a naughty world' - the perfect Shakespeare quote to put on a shiny thing. I've hand stamped the words in tiny capital letters around the edge of a vintage silverplated sauce spoon, and added a little star.

The spoon has a shallow oval bowl and an elegantly flared handle with a little bit of neoclassical engraved detailing. It measures 5 1/2" (14cm) long. It is still quite shiny for its age (from the style I'd guess it dates from the 1910s to 1920s) but it is a used vintage item so it does show signs of surface wear, as you can see in the pictures.

You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. (I don't do digital mockups. Each letter you see on the images has been hand stamped by me with a steel die and a brass hammer.) The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink - please wash carefully by hand and don't scrub the wording too hard.
