Full description

A hand stamped Victorian jam or preserve spoon with an ornately embossed handle and engraved bowl to which I've added the words IT'S TIME TO GET STICKY around the edge. The spoon is antique and worn but it's still a lovely and functional item - it's approx. 14.5cm long and has a shallow, pointed bowl with little scallops at the back edge so you can tilt the spoon and drain away surplus syrup from your preserved fruits.

You will receive the spoon shown in the photos, so please do look at the photos - the spoon has lost a good deal of its original silver plating and I've even shown you the back so you can see how much it's been used. Some people (me included) like the battered-but-fabulous look, but if you are not one of them I won't be offended. It actually looks a lot shinier in real life than it does in my pictures but I think that's the right way round!
