Full description
"Watery Light" was created after a grey November woodland walk. It was a blustery day, full of squally showers and fleeting glimpses of the sun. This piece is worked in fabric collage and hand embroidery. It is supplied mounted and framed.
I have fabrics in a moody colour palette - textured browns, steely grey and a sullen indigo. Contrasting this, brief glimpses of the sun are captured in golds and mustards. Texture is added with hand embroidery, creating the comforting feel of a small quilt.
This work will allow you to bring a piece of the wild outdoors into your home. Because my picture is supplied mounted and framed, it will also make the ideal gift for someone special.
"Watery Light" is supplied mounted in a 6" black shadow frame that is suitable for desk or wall display.
