The inscription on this cigarette case was To George From Rose May 15 1917. It has such a beautiful pattern and history. I enjoy making jewellery from bent or damaged silver retro items as they have had a life and usually have some great engine turned patterns. It also saves silver from being taken out of the ground at huge risk to the workers and the environment.

This necklace was saw pierced out of a lovely 1915 cigarette case. It measures approx. 3.7 by 3.8cm and comes on an 18 inch/46cm silver chain.
