Full description
A beautiful soft and lightweight scarf made using a combination of stunning bright pink merino wool and recycled sari silk fibres. The scarf consists of fine layers of merino wool fibres topped with recycled sari silk fibres which have then been wet felted causing the wool fibres to bind with the silk fibres and create a stable fabric.
The silk fibres, are in a blend of many colours (predominantly pink) and add colour, texture and a beautiful sheen to the surface of the scarf. These silk fibres have been added to one side of the scarf only with the reverse left plain.
The resulting scarf is soft and lightweight with a surface sheen. It measures approximately 177cm (69.5") x 25cm (10"), long enough to wrap around or tie at the neck for additional warmth if required
The scarf will be supplied wrapped in pretty tissue paper with information about the felting process and full washing instructions.
Wool is a natural fibre making it eco friendly, sustainable and biodegradable. It is breathable and reacts to the body temperature giving warmth in the winter but cool in the summer making this an all season accessory. An excellent gift idea for mothers day, a 7th (wool) anniversary or any other occasion.
Hand wash in warm water.
