My work is inspired by my everyday walks with my Frenchie Dexter, in and around my local area and woodland along with my travels across the UK in Kitty the VW. You will generally find me with Dexter in one hand and the camera in the other taking pictures of flowers, patterns and textures oh and lots of mushrooms. Walking in the woodland is my favourite pastime, this is where I feel at my most creative and content with my thoughts just wandering in and out as I watch Dexter chase the squirrels and plan what I am going to get up to in my garden studio when we get back.
Once in the studio out comes the sketchbook, pencils and paint while I play around with an idea or image in my head, letting the magic form on the paper in front of me. I love playing with the colours from the paint and inks and seeing what sparks a colour palette idea for the final piece.
I hope you find artwork or greeting card you enjoy as much as I do creating them.

All my artwork is created by me and inspired by the Great British Garden and my walks with my constant companion Dexter the French Bulldog. I paint, produce and pack all my own work from my garden studio based in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
It is printed on beautiful soft lightly textured, professional paper to capture the true essence of the watercolour and ink using high-quality printing inks.
The paper is high-quality archival 316gsm inkjet paper.
