Walking around my garden and allotment, I often pick flowers and grasses that have short stems but beautiful blooms. I decided to make a variety of small containers where these natural objects could be placed around the house to add colour and joy.

This little bud vase has been hand thrown on the wheel , decorated and glazed in my pottery in Winchester.
It is perfect for a variety of fresh flower blooms, leaves and even dried grasses gathered on winter walks. It is small enough to use as a table decoration or by the bed in a guest room .
Decorated with a creamy matt glaze with green and grey blue stripes , it complements any interior.
This vase is 8cm tall.
