Having been for a walk in the local woods recently I thought it might be nice to make so toadstools. I've made these with spots after asking what people liked best - makes it look a little like a Fly Agaric, poisonous to humans but fine to hang these glass versions in your window.
I have several toadstools available, all in beautiful colours: red or orange sea glass or streaky blue glass for the cap of the short toadstool, red or orange sea glass, green florentine glass or blue streaky glass for the tall toadstool cap with white streaky sea glass for the underside and a cream streaky sea glass for the stalk.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again. The spots have been added using glass paint and white nail varnish.
These sun catchers measure:
10.5cms wide by 9.5cms high (not including the ring) for the short toadstool.
5.5cms wide but 12cms high for the tall toadstool
