Full description
One vintage 'apostle' spoon with a grumpy message hand stamped in small but very clear block capitals. Choose your preferred wording (BAH HUMBUG or BAH F%%%ING HUMBUG) from the drop-down menu (click the big orange 'choose option' button). Please give the F-word version to over 18s only. These naughty little spoons make great small gifts for people you know who don't really 'do' Christmas, and are also very popular as office Secret Santa gifts or just as a little joke stocking filler.
Listing is for ONE spoon. The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Hand wash only.
The spoons have little bearded book-carrying robed 'apostle' figures on the terminals. They are approx. 4 1/4" (10.5cm) long. Spoons may vary slightly from the ones shown in the photos. Please note the spoons are vintage (or possibly antique) so they do show signs of age and wear. If signs of age and wear bother you, please do look elsewhere for your handstamped cutlery; there are plenty of shops out there stamping on mint condition silverware. Personally I like things with a bit of character and history. These grumpy old guys have been around a bit... who knows how many cups of coffee they've stirred and how many Christmases they sadly haven't enjoyed? And it's fun letting them say things they wouldn't have been allowed to say in Victorian times when they were newer, if not younger!
