When I was a child, my brothers and I treasured the ornaments for the Christmas tree, bringing them out year after year. I wanted to make something that would last for generations, perhaps being treasured in the same way as I remember. I hope these puddings are the recipe for lots of lovely Christmas memories.

Full description
These handmade ceramic Christmas puddings topped with a cherry will make lovely tree ornaments, or can be used to make a very personal and special gift box trim or stocking fillers. I made the puds from a shaped disc of soft clay, texturing the surface and then using coloured slips to make white sauce, holly and berries. The front surface is glazed, but the reverse is the plain black of the natural clay after firing. I’ve finished them with a bright pink wiggly cord to tie on your tree or attach to gift wrap. Just the thing for a jolly Christmas celebration! Forget planet-unfriendly plastic ornaments, these ceramic puds will last for years! 5.5 cms diameter and 4.5cms diameter with 14cms cord length. Please keep away from young children as they may think the puddings are good enough to eat!
