I was given a box of haberdashery items. As I came to use the old cotton reels the labels kept falling off as the glue was so old. I put them to one side and later on had a thought, these would make an ideal subject for a magnet. Now I am looking out for any small memorabilia that I can put on a magnet.

Full description
This collection of sewing thread labels came from old reels of thread that I was given. Too good to throw away and many of the threads are now no longer made. What a wonderful way to preserve this sewing history. The designs of the labels are pieces of art work in themselves.
To protect the labels during use there is a protective mylar film covering the paper.
The three magnets are being sold as a collection and each measures 45cm diameter, approx 2" and come complete with a gift bag.
