Autumn is my favourite time of the year so I was inspired to paint a piece to capture a little essence of the season. I am always searching for antique ribbon on which to hang my lockets so when I came across this beautiful length of vintage jacquard, I chose to paint these beautiful jewel coloured rose hips to match the design.
I love trying to capture the richness of berries and fruit and the soft light that shines off them.

Full description
A stunning piece comprising of a large rolled gold oval vintage locket pendant holding a hand painted miniature of rose hips created by myself. The pendant hangs from a beautiful length of antique jacquard ribbon. A second picture or photo can be easily added into the reverse by pushing out the centre section. This is perfect for an Autumn/Fall occasion such as a medieval banquet or wedding. A truly unique piece of jewellery.
