This is an updated version of a spider purse I made some years ago which was part of a spooky collection inspired by Victorian mourning dress and vampires.

Full description
The body of the front of this purse is a patchwork of black cotton velvet, silk and linen which is then machine embroidered in gold thread to form a cobweb detail. The back is in plain cotton velvet. The purse fastens with a antique style brass bobble clip frame
The lining is in gold coloured silk, with a small pocket (6cm x 10cm), the perfect size for a credit card.
The purse is embellished with an appliquéd gold, black and diamanté beaded spider.
