This is part of a series of pieces that have been inspired by interacting forms. In them I’ve been looking at how shapes and patterns push and pull against each other, balancing, leaning, forcing and responding. Although they are abstract, I think they do have a figurative quality in that they explore the interaction of individual elements and how these can shape, mould and transform each other.

Full description
This piece is black clay that has been high fired to enhance its deep rich dark slate grey colour. The surface is mat which enhances its sculptural properties and clean lines. Due to the scale, it can fit easily into any interior and would certainly offer an interesting focal point. This is handmade and a totally unique piece. Size: height: 29.5 cm, width: 18cm and depth: 7cm.
