I did some watercolour art pieces on botanicals simply because I love to paint and there is nothing more special than the nature around us. I had not done any botanicals previously and I just really wanted to give them a try and was pleasantly surprised with the end result. I wanted to make some notebooks with this artwork but wanted the item to be rustic and hand sewn as I feel it suited the images which I had printed onto cotton rag watercolour paper.
