Hi, I’m Sue the Artist and maker behind Little Something Ellse which is a small illustration business run from my home in Yorkshire England.
I’m a self-taught artist who work in watercolour, graphite, and coloured pencils as well as digital art. I work in other mediums also like clay, resin, and acrylic paint and inks.
I take inspiration from life all around me from watching my child playing to seeing a bird taking a bath in a puddle, life is such a beautiful thing in so many ways. It can also be cruel though, so I try and see the beauty when it is there and capture it some way through my art.
In my shop you will find bookmarks, notebooks, prints and stickers, collectable rag-dolls and card kits for those who also love to craft themselves.
So, you know my name, you know what I do … want to know why I got into my business? Well back in 2017 when I started my business, I decided to use my passion for art as I was diagnosed with a couple of disabilities a few years prior it became impossible to work 9-5. I then had my little mini-me in 2019 and everything I do is now for her. So, if you do decide to buy anything from my little shop…first I have to say your awesome!! But secondly you can guarantee me and my mini-me will be doing a happy sale dance in my home studio!
If you were to purchase hopefully you will see how much love and heart goes into what I do. You will also see that I am trying as a small business to be as eco-friendly as I can within my business packaging whilst making sure your items come to you in tiptop condition.
