This is a DIY KNITTING PATTERN for Bee Slogans and Bees, which are added to a knitted square using Swiss Darning/duplicate stitch or the intarsia method of knitting. The pattern is written in English and contains instructions to knit a 16.5cm/6.25in square/block and 10 charts for the bee slogans and bee motifs.
The blocks are made using a DK weight cotton yarn and 4mm/US 6 knitting needles, you could make the blocks bigger or smaller by using a different weight yarn. One block requires approximately 20g/42m/46yds of the main colour; 4/4.4yds for the lettering on each block; 1m/1.1yds in each of the three colours for one bee motif.
There are no postage costs – the pattern will be emailed as a pdf file within 48 hours of payment being received, to the email address registered with Folksy unless you let me know otherwise. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this pdf file, if you do not have this program it is free to download from www.adobe.com
