Blyth Spirit is based on the story involving Bruichladdich distillery being approached by the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency who were concerned that their processes might be adjusted to produce weapons of mass destruction. Bruichladdich produced a bottling called WMD - Whisky of Mass Distinction. The story grew further when a Yellow Submarine was lost by the Royal Navy Minesweeper, HMS Blyth, ended up at Bruichladdich and led to a second bottling called Yellow Submarine. Before it's decommissioning, HMS Blyth could be seen in the Clyde waters outside my window.

Bruichladdich Whisky Distillery Limited Edition Print
'Blyth Spirit' - An interpretation of Yellow Submarine Whisky, Bruichladdich distillery, Islay, Scotland. Please enquire about the original artwork.
The original artwork, completed in 2021, is a 3 dimensional paper sculpture
where paper, card, found materials and acrylic paint have been manipulated to create a highly textured effect. I have been developing this technique for some years now and further
examples can be seen at www.pamscottart.com.
Giclée limited edition print, run of 95, on Hahnemühle Fine Art German
Etching 310gsm paper. Giclée - superior to standard printing as it uses 12 colours to give truer reproduction of the original.
The print size includes a 20mm border to the picture size.
The print will be numbered, titled and signed by the artist, Pam Scott and then
rolled, wrapped in 'Acid Free' tissue paper and despatched in a strong
cardboard tube or similar.
Please contact Pam to buy or commission an original paper artwork.
The longer delivery time is due to the print being sent first to the artist for signing before
posting on to you.
