I found this pattern for shoes on a website and had enough of this lovely yarn to make them.

Full description
These little shoes are hand knitted in a cotton and acrylic yarn. They have straps that cross over the front and fasten with tiny white rose buttons.
The shoes measure 8cm along the sole and suitable for a newborn baby.
The yarn is 50% cotton 50% acrylic and is machine washable.
