IMPORTANT NOTICE - Our last date for orders this year is MONDAY 9th DECEMBER. This will give time for orders to be made and posted in time for Christmas. Our shop will then close and the sewing machine will go in for a service. It deserves a bit of tlc.
Thanks for visiting our shop. You will find a variety of household items and gifts here, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.

Christmas and birthdays can produce a lot of waste. Reduce your impact on the environment by wrapping gifts in something that is not only beautiful and reusable, but has lived a previous life as a loved garment.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This beautiful set of gift wrappings are, all made from repurposed sari fabric. The fabrics are beautiful and all have sparkles of some sort, making them ideal for your celebration. Each bag is lined and has a drawstring cord. The wrap is made from two different fabrics so that you can ring the changes. Your gifts can be presented in these wrappings, looking uniquely beautiful. The double layer of fabric conceals the contents and the drawstring makes both wrapping and unwrapping a pleasure.
In this set you will receive two medium gift bags: a purple drawstring bag measuring 28 x 27cm, a new a black, white and yellow bag measuring 29 x 27cm. The wrap is purple with silver spots on one side and pink with gold stripes on the other. It measures approximately 52cm square.
These gift bags are made from pre-loved saris. There may be small marks or pulls on the fabric and the bags may not have perfectly square corners. They will make your gifts look lovely whilst reducing the amount of wrapping your send to landfill.
Gift wraps will be sent using standard second class post unless you choose otherwise.
