Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! My shop is currently closed while I move house. I plan to be open again by the end of July (WiFi willing!) and will be reading messages throughout, except the week of 15th July. If there's anything you would like to reserve or commission, don't hesitate to get in touch.

In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

The bag is made with two artist designed cotton prints inspired by the fabulous Stranger Things TV programme! The top of the bag references the alphabet Joyce Byers writes on her wall to help communicate with her missing son Will in series 1, and the bottom part is a print that references Eleven's 80s jumpsuit from series 3.

Full description
The lining is a bright turquoise cotton, that coordinates with the blue in the jumpsuit print. The bag is a perfect size for a smaller project - certainly large enough for a one skein shawl but compact and squishy enough to take with you in a larger bag when you're on the go. You can see the dimensions of the bag in the last photograph and I've included a pair of standard size straight needles in the photos to give you a practical feel of the size, as well as a skein of wool.
The corners of the bag have been folded to create pretty triangle shapes that flatten the bottom of the bag and help it stand on it's own so you can work out of it. I've also added a yarn guide in the lining, which opens with a metal press stud. The drawstrings are a lovely soft cotton woven cord in a matching shade, and I've sealed the ends by adding some matching fabric tape, for a tidy finish.
All the fabrics have been interfaced with woven cotton for strength and to help resist creasing a little, and I've added a layer of fleece for a little more body and padding. Please note that the fabric placement in the photographs is of one sample bag, and your bag could look slightly different, depending on how the fabric is cut.
