Full description
I've used gorgeous cotton prints in rich shades of red and green featuring stylised foliage and flowers outlined in delicate metallic gold to make this festive table runner.
I made the three patchwork Ohio Stars before stitching them together to form the top of the table runner. The backing is made of a soft 100% cotton in beige with subtle white flecks. Between the backing and the patchwork top is a layer of soft quilters wadding. The three layers are held together with machine quilt stitching - the pattern can be seen on the back of the runner. Binding around the edge of the runner in the same fabric as the stars makes a neat finish.
The table runner measures 31.5" long x 11.5" wide (80cm x 29cm). It would make a beautiful festive centre piece on a dining table, coffee table or sideboard.
