Winter 2025: Welcome to my shop! There's a mixture of handmade fabric goods - patchwork quilts, bags, table runners and more! All made from high quality fabrics in my smoke-free, pet-free home sewing studio.

Full description
It was such a delight to use these beautiful silky smooth cotton prints by Moda. The mix of warm reds and browns with cool greens and blues gives the patchwork a wonderful Wintery vibe.
I've stitched the patchwork squares together 'on-point' with triangles of fabric at the end of the diagonal rows. This gives the whole design a sense of movement which is accentuated by the flowing lines of quilting stitches that hold the layers of fabrics together and give the quilt texture. To complete the quilt I hand stitched the binding in place for an especially neat finish.
This patchwork quilt measures approximately 56" (143cm) wide by 69" (176cm) long. Perfect to use as an accent sofa throw or feature throw in a bedroom.
Materials: The patchwork front, backing and binding are all 100% cotton, silky smooth to the touch. The wadding inside the quilt is EcoBlend by Sew Simple, made from recycled fibres, 70% cotton and 30% polyester. Breathable, warm but lightweight with a gentle, snuggly drape.
Machine washable on a gentle cycle.
