In our ever advancing technological age, I thought I would make my version of the game that every small child learns to play.
Making it from wood and marbles adds a tactile element to this simple game.
Would make a great gift for a child, or a fine addition to a parent's or grandparent's coffee table.
Please note, this does NOT come with a downloadable app for your phone!

Wood is a natural product that continues to move. It moves with the seasons, and in modern times, moves with the central heating! When making things from wood, I try and allow for the movement when designing. But it doesn't always work....so if a small crack appears, it's just the wood doing it's thing.

Full description
Made from solid oak, this is the classic game of Noughts and Crosses.
The wooden board also serves as storage for the marbles used to play. Two sets of five contrasting marbles are included, which are stored behind a wooden flap.
All the wooden components are sanded to remove sharp edges, and it is finished in a child safe acrylic lacquer.
The item is certified UKCA.
Due to it having small marbles, this item is not recommended for children under 36 months.
