I've been waiting for rain and though it said it was coming it didn't. So I took drastic steps of my own and made this rainmaker suncatcher and glory be.... as I type this it's raining. Lol

This is a stained glass suncatcher, entirely handmade by me, using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I designed this as I wanted to make a Rainbow piece to represent Rain. So I've made a 7 colourrainbow, slightly arced, with drops of rain beneath and one raindrop hanging from a silver chain.
The raindrops are octagon chandelier crystals and the drop on the chain, a teardrop.
I've strengthened and neatened the other edges of the rainbow with twisted wire.
The Rainbow hangs from one corner and is 11cm wide and 20cmhigh including the teardrop but excluding the hanging chain.
The colours are vibrant, the crystals glitter. I am really very pleased with this design. I've used different textures of glass across the rainbow to give it plenty of movement,
.
It hangs from a sillver chain which is firmly attached via a soldered wire ring on the top.
..
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass.
