Cut from polymer clay, hand painted and coated with resin this is a representation of Dorothy - the indomitable face of the famous "Allotment Cats".

All profits from the sale of the Allotment Cat Collection, either full sets or individual cats will be donated to BHFerals - a local friend of the Allotment Cats who shelters, feeds and provides vet care for a feral cat community. Her work is very dear to Dorothy's heart and mine.

The cats can be mounted onto either a brooch back or a fridge magnet - the choice is yours, so please let me know your preference in the message box when you order. Each cat will come individually mounted, presented in a cellophane bag and gift wrapped.

Profit is sale price, less site fees and P&P. All materials and time are being donated.

Everyone who is part of the Twitter cat community knows about Robert the Allotment Cat. The cat who saved his home when the allotments where he & his friends live were threatened with closure, by building up an impressive worldwide Twitter following & pressure group.

Sadly Robert passed away earlier this year &, wanting to offer just a little tangible comfort, I sent his carers at the allotments some of my cat pins, in his image, to remember him by. That act then grew into a conversation between us & I pledged to make similar images of all 7 of the resident cats to be sold at fundraising fairs in order to bolster the cats' vet fund.

Those sold well and Betty approached me with an idea for me to make & sell the pieces here in my shop. She wanted me to sell them for profit & I didn't want to - I can tell you that we are both VERY stubborn lol. In the end we reached a compromise - that they would be sold instead to help other cats in her area via Amy of BHFerals
