Along with my interest in anything natural in the art world I discovered ancient recipes for Oak Gall ink, the galls are collected in Spring from trees on Exmoor, processed and refined, then bottled and preserved with cloves. Walnut husks are collected in Autumn and make a beautiful warm brown Ink, great for writing and drawing and useful as a woodstain
