Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! My shop is currently closed while I move house. I plan to be open again by the end of July (WiFi willing!) and will be reading messages throughout, except the week of 15th July. If there's anything you would like to reserve or commission, don't hesitate to get in touch.

In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

Full description
The bag is made with a beautiful cotton print called 'Bees', which was originally part of the Magic Forest collection by Sarah Watts for Cotton and Steel. I partner it with a metallic copper and gold Essex Linen, which is super sparkly.
The lining is a pink cotton that coordinates with the pink bees in the print. The bag is a perfect size for a smaller project - certainly large enough for a one skein shawl but compact and squishy enough to take with you in a larger bag when you're on the go. You can see the dimensions of the bag in the last photograph and I've included a pair of standard size straight needles in the photos to give you a practical feel of the size.
The corners of the bag are folded to create pretty triangle shapes that flatten the bottom of the bag and help it stand on it's own so you can work out of it. I also add a yarn guide in the lining made with the Essex Linen, which opens with a metal press stud. The drawstrings are a lovely soft cotton woven cord in a matching pink shade, and I seal the ends by adding some matching fabric tape, for a tidy finish.
All the fabrics are interfaced with woven cotton for strength and to help resist creasing a little, and I add a layer of fleece for a little more body and padding. Please note that the fabric placement in the photographs is of one sample bag, and your bag could look slightly different, depending on how the fabric is cut.
