Full description
Little Owls are one of my favourite owls to draw, they have so much character! This one sits on a willow moon, willow having many lunar associations.
It's created using pyrography, which is burning on wood, and coloured with acrylic ink. The piece is finished with non toxic linseed oil.
The log slice is approximately 12cm x 11cm
Pyrography can fade in direct sunlight and wood items are best situated away from extremes of temperature and humidity.
This is a handmade item on natural wood so there will be imperfections in the grain.
Colours can appear differently on different monitors and devices.
