Full description
Patsy is a medium sized zipped cross body bag with front zipped pocket and zip top opening. The polka dot fabric was purchased for a mountain jersey (Tour De France) themed garment for a child, whilst the stripe fabric piece is a remnant from previous projects.
Made from remnants from my own business and offcuts bought from a curtain maker, Patsy also uses rescued zips. These metal toothed zips were due to be discarded to landfill as some were damaged. Those I use are functional but may have slight imperfections (marks on the fabric tape or metal work).
The pocket is accessed from the front, and is secured with a metal toothed zip. The top opening of the bag is also zipped, and the bag is fully lined with cream polycotton. Metal hardwear is used to attach the cross body strap, which is fully adjustable.
Soft red and orange stripes are brushed across the lower front print, whilst a white and fuschia pink polka dot cotton is used for the top front and back sections. The strap is created from the polka dot fabric.
Bag is 23cm wide by 24cm tall. The strap is 3cm wide and adjusts lengths between the shortest length of 75cm and 132cm maximum length.
This bag is made from fabric - please note that it is not waterproof in any way. It is very lightly padded to add a little firmness.
