I've wanted to make a traditional hexagon patchwork for a long time. When I found the pack of 1930's print fabrics it seemed the perfect opportunity!

Full description
A modern take on the traditional patchwork design of interlocking hexagons. Each hexagon measures 22cm (9"). I've chosen 100% cotton fabrics with ditsy 1930's print designs in a bright colour palette.
The quilt measures 152cm (60") wide x 164cm (65") long. A great size to use as a cosy sofa throw or bed throw. It would also make a beautiful blanket to use in the garden to keep warm on a chilly evening or to spread on the ground and use as a picnic rug.
The backing is also 100% cotton, featuring a text print in French. Inside the quilt is a warm, breathable and lightweight layer of quilters wadding made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester. I have quilted the three layers of the quilt together by repeating wavy lines of stitching across the entire quilt.
Around the edge of the quilt is a double layer binding in a pretty cotton print.
The quilt can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and is made to last from quality materials.
