I absolutely adore these little faceted coins of AAA grade black spinel, they have a fabulous sparkle and shine when they catch the light.
In July 2016, Spinel was named a new birthstone for the month of August by the American Gem Trade Association, alongside Peridot.

Classy, black-and-gold, sparkly drop earrings.
These earrings feature a 6mm frosted black onyx bead topped with a pair of Czech glass, 5x7mm metallic gold and black pips by Preciosa.
The pips are bracketed by 2.5mm gold vermeil beads, and hang beneath a trio of gorgeous, sparkly, faceted AAA grade black spinel 4mm coins.
The ear-wires are gold vermeil.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with gold, and the wires are stamped '925'.
These earrings measure approximately 1.25 inches (3cm).
Presented in a small organza gift bag.
