DPB05 – Brighton F Class Tram circa 1937-39

Actual size - 43mm x 30mm – 25% sold

This badge was released to mark Brighton Corporation’s electric tramway system, where under the 1900 Act, commenced service on the 25 November 1901 when the first car was ceremonially driven by the mayor John Stafford.

The increasing suburban development of the 1930s, the tram routes were consequently withdrawn and replaced by trolleybuses and buses from the 26 April 1939 while the last Brighton tram ran from Upper Rock Gardens to the Old Steine at 2am on 1 September 1939, bringing to an end thirty-eight years of almoDPB05 – The London General Mercedes Citaro ‘Bendy Bus’
