Full description
Beautiful high quality 100% cotton, I have used two prints from a UK design house inspired by the nursery rhyme ‘A windmill in old Amsterdam’.
One side is grey with lovely windmills, tulips and mice, the other side is white with tiny blue dots and mice sleeping in cerise tulips. Both sides equally as appealing.
I have quilted a delicate tulip pattern on this quilt using free motion embroidery using silver and pink metallic thread on the white with cerise tulips side and pink thread on the grey windmills and tulips side. I have overlocked the seams and attached pale blue satin bias binding hand sewn to the back. The effect is lovely.
Washable at 30 degrees, gentle wash. Do not tumble dry. Line dry or dry in an airing cupboard. Follow instructions on the label applied.
Suitable for the end of a single bed or throw on the sofa. Measures approximately 98cm long by 109cm wide. This is a lightweight quilt with light polyester fire resistant wadding.
