Full description
Having made a variety of hanging birds I thought I'd try my hand at a free standing one. This beautiful heron complete with fish in beak (despite the no fishing sign) is standing on one leg in a lagoon of blue and green water surrounded by grasses and bull rushes with floating water lily flowers and polished stones. Looks great on a window sill, in the garden, as a centre piece on the dining table or on a side table under a lamp. A great way to bring a touch of nature indoors and the perfect gift for bird lovers, gardeners, anglers or as an anniversary present.
Made in the Tiffany Style each piece of glass has been hand cut and copper foiled before being soldered together. The legs are made from twisted copper wire and copper wire form the bull lushes along with polished quartz stones. Finished with decorative solder with a copper patina polished to shine and sealed with a silicon wax.
Size is approx. 7.5" tall and the base 6" x 5".
Packaged in tissue paper and bubble wrap, boxed and well protected for posting. Free postage within the UK
