I love to use upholstery and curtain remnants as they are often perfect for bag making. It also means that no two bags are ever the same! The heavier weight of these fabrics lend substance to the body of a bag and are therefore harder wearing than plain cotton. These are low waste products as they are leftovers and the fabric would otherwise probably have ended up in landfill.

Large enough for phone, purse, keys and other essentials, but small enough to be useful without bulk, this red canvas bag would make a lovely gift.
Dimensions: 7” wide, 3” deep, 11” tall (17.8cm x 7.6cm x 28cm)
The main body of the bag is zipped and it has a zipped pocket on the front, as well as a pocket on the inside.
I have used repurposed curtain and upholstery fabric so this is a low waste product. The shoulder strap is cotton webbing and the clasps/D rings/sliding strap and strap slider are metal. It is fully lined.
This is the perfect bag for cycling or daily use and would also make a lovely gift.
