Full description
A stunning tree in full blossom. This background of this picture has been been created using silk and wool fabrics and fibres which have been needle felted onto a piece of backing felt. The needle felting process binds the fabric and fibres to the backing felt without the need for stitching and also creates a gorgeous texture to the picture. Some of the raw edges of the fabric left exposed in places to add to the artwork. The blossom on the tree has been added using embroidery floss in three shades of pink to create many French knots and tiny pink seed beads have been stitched on to create a touch of sparkle.
The final piece has been mounted onto a piece of card and is supplied with an 8" x 8" white card mount with a picture area of 4" x 4" as shown.
The final photograph illustrates how the picture might look when framed but a frame is not included in the listing.
