Full description
This stunning handmade Ceramic Button is made from Earthenware clay before being imprinted with Vintage Lace. Beautiful Sea Green glaze has been applied by hand and rubbed back to allow the gorgeous intricacy of the lace to be seen and touched.
The Button is glazed on both sides and has the MatildaBelle makers mark on the reverse also.
This large button measures approximately 5.5cm across and is 4mm deep.
MatildaBelle buttons can be machine washed on a wool cycle. I would ask that you either turn the object inside out or even better wash with a pillowcase to stop the button from coming into contact with the machine drum.
This button can be used in so many applications. From adorning a cushion to a Lapel a favourite hat or even just stood on its edge and shown as a beautiful object.
Such a beautiful artisan ceramic piece to own or gift.
