£2 from the sale of this item will be donated to the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB).
I bought a box of four handkerchiefs hand embroidered in Italy, but they were way too delicate to use as handkerchiefs so I decided to use the pretty embroidery to embellish these needlecases. I have made the cover using a natural linen style, with the embroidered fabric appliquéd onto it. The lining is a ditsy floral.
I have machine embroidered the word "Needles" in black thread and added a decorative pink heart shaped button.
On the back is a cute little flower detail.
Fastens with a fabric loop around a cover button. Inside are two leaves of white felt to hold needles and pins.
Measures about 9cm x 13 cm when closed. Interlined with a layer of fusible fleece.
This item is one of a kind and is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, whilst the outer packaging might be recycled.
