This is a 21 x 18cm lino print of a blue star fern (also known as a golden polypody). Made using oil-based inks on Japanese 77gsm white paper, the print is number 3 in an open edition.

The print photographed is the print you will receive, so please look at the pictures closely to check you are happy with it before making a purchase. In the UK I send my prints using Second Class Signed-For, and elsewhere in the world I use International Tracked & Signed.

Welcome to my Folksy shop! After selling my art and illustrations for 18 months I decided to create a shop specifically for my original works such as lino prints, screen prints and paintings.

I own one of these beautiful ferns and what makes this a particular favourite of mine is its mixture of fronds; some are long single curls, others have many different 'fingers', and some are tiny. Despite this chaos, this plant has such a calming effect with its wavy shapes and peaceful blue-green colour, plus it is a great little air purifier! I designed this to provide a spot of calm and serenity to the decor of any room.
