I took part in an instagram challenge to make a design with a given flower each day. This was my take on magnolia

Full description
A branch of beautiful magnolia flowers have been needle felted and embroidered onto a light grey wool felt background. The blossom have been needle felted in a light pink then stitched in white and two shades of pink to bring out the petals of each of the three flowers. Each bloom is at a different stage of opening to mimic life. Some small green flourishes can be seen on the branch and around the magnolia to highlight the birth of a new set of leaves. A tiny bee is buzzing over on the left side of the design. This brooch encapsulates spring. It is one of a kind too so you know you will be wearing something that is unique.
The embroidered design has been securely stitched onto thick wool felt and is sturdy. It has a standard metal brooch back.
