freehand embroidered zombie bumble bee bag charm or keyring - TURQUOISE
these tatty little zombie bumbles measure about 8cm (3inches) from nose to bum, and are approximately 11cm (4.5”) tall including wings, hanging loop & split ring.
i’ve layered & appliqued hand dyed corpse grey lawn, turquoise & pink cottons onto hand dyed cotton calico. he's accessorised with coordinating teal coloured wings. the intricate details are drawn freehand using free motion embroidery.
zom-bee’s eyeballs are hand embroidered.
there’s no computer wizardy here, these fat little zombies are entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine. everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
the bumble bees are made from heavy weight cotton calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if a machine wash is required.
they're stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852) and finished by hand.
the grosgrain ribbon is securely double(triple!) stitched.
the split ring is nickel plated steel.
