Every time I go to the North Coast of England, me and my dog walk and walk. I absolutely love the sea, the light, the big skies and wide stretches of sand. There is often not another person in sight. It is where I find peace and little moments of absolute joy.

Sparkling Sunrise.
I begin by under painting with Derwent Inktense, then add fine details, sparkles and pops of colour with Unison Pastel. I love how this makes the sea and sky glow with the same intensity the sun created as it rose above the horizon.
The East coast is one of my favourite places to walk and paint, vibrant big skies and wide open soft sand.
