The Urban Ocean Collection is inspired by a recent trip to the beach, where pebbles are shaped by the water. However, living far from the sea means that my day to day inspiration comes from cityscapes: dark colours, concrete and man-made texture. These two ideas came together to create the Urban Ocean.

Full description
These earrings are handmade to order from recycled sterling silver. I hand shape and solder silver wire into these organic shapes, which I then textured using an old hammer. As they are hand formed, the shapes are not exactly the same, and the old hammer leaves an interesting texture, giving them plenty of character!
I have oxidisised the earrings to a dark grey. I've then brushed away some of this patina, to give an interesting aged finish.
The earrings measure 1.2cm tall and 1cm across. The studs and scrolls are also sterling silver.
Please note that as these are entirely handmade, the ones I make for you may differ ever so slightly from the pair photographed.
