Ducklings aren't just for Easter, but what a lovely Easter gift this would make! I have hand embroidered a pale yellow duckling (or chick) on the front of a bright red T-shirt by Fruit of the Loom. The duckling is standing behind a spray of flowers in various shades of blue.
I do not use a backing material when embroidering children's clothes, so there is nothing inside the shirt to irritate their skin. The shirt is 100% cotton and can be machine washed, preferably in cool water in view of the deep red colour!
