I love making miniature coastal cottages, there is something about getting lost in the fairy tale while you're making them and imagining yourself transported to an idyllic little place by the sea (well, for me anyway!). This one is a little bit different as I've added snow to make it a wintry scene, something I have been meaning to do for a while and I think, for those of you who love to mix up your decor around the festive season, this unique piece is a wonderful find.

Full description
Add a touch of wintry coastal charm to your home with this unique hand-painted hanging coastal cottage wall art, made from sustainable beachcombed driftwood and sea glass. This recycled piece makes an ideal coastal gift, featuring snowy accents that will brighten any space and make a delightful festive present.
The wall art is made from a square wooden box frame, with the outer edge painted brown and the inner section in pale blue. It features driftwood, sea glass, and beachcombed terracotta as embellishments. The driftwood is painted in a lovely dusky pink to form a seaside cottage with a terracotta roof. Windows and doors are painted on, and white paint is used to depict snow on the roof. Green sea glass pieces form a forest to the right of the house, accented with snow. Driftwood with sea glass beneath it completes the scene.
