I had a denim jacket which looked quite plain so I decided to cut some stars from an old pair of jeans with lots of holes in and stitch these stars onto the jacket.

I have put the stars on the jacket with a falling scattered effect across the bottom, across the shoulders and down the front.

It's a perfect denim jacket to wear over a dress, skirt, shorts and is a complete one off!

The jacket has top buttoned pockets.

It is size XL but the measurements from pit to pit is 50cm, I would say the jacket is more of a size 14 ish.

My husband had a par of work jeans that had worn holes through and were ripped so I put them to one side. A denim jacket I had didn't fit anymore so I decided to cut stars out of the jean legs and stitch them on to the jacket. I put them around the front and back and then around the shoulders to achieve a falling star effect.

I'm really pleased how this jacket turned out and if it fit me I would keep it! I love designing and my work has been featured in national magazines in the past which I am proud of.
