A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Chameleon, with a rainbow coloured striped body...
The eye is a millefiroi bead and it has a quirky curly wire eyebrow. Encircled in the tail is a sparkling crystal.
There are lots of different textures in the different types of glass, to give it movement .The back of the body is framed with twisted wire for strength and interest. Very cute.
This is approximately 11.5cm long by 7.5cm high.
It is a very bright and beautiful piece and will enhance any window and cast its colours across the room when the sun shines through.
The chameleon hangs from a silver chain which is securely attached to the top by a soldered wire ring.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
