Full description
A green abstract textile art picture which is open to your own interpretations. The picture has been created using various shades of green silk fabric and wool and silk fibres with the addition of beading in selected areas. Strips of silk fabric have been needle felted onto a piece of backing felt with wool and silk fibres added in selected areas.The process of needle felting not only binds the fabric and fibres together but creates a fabulous texture to the silk fabric pieces. A variety of green beads have been hand sewn to enhance the picture.
The artwork has been mounted on a piece of thick card and an 8" x 8" white card mount with a picture area of 5" x 5" added. The final photographs shows how the piece might look framed but the frame is not included in the listing. The picture is supplied with the mount ready to be framed in an 8" x 8" frame.
